I got home from a looooong day on set at 11:52 pm, and rushed to the computer. My grand total for the first day of NaNoWriMo? 87 words. Woo hoo. Very impressive.

When people ask me where I'm from, I say "the Bay Area", even though I haven't lived there in over a decade. It's still home. I was just dumb enough to pick two careers that can only be done consistently and for decent money here in Southern California. I am a bleeding-heart liberal, so don't expect any warm fuzzies for George "Wombat" Bush.
